Living Well - for Chronic Health Problems
Living Well classes will benefit those living with chronic health problems such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety, obesity, etc. The purpose of this group is to offer support and ways to better manage health including, discovering better physical activity and nutrition choices, learning real life skills for living with a long term condition, and practical ways of managing symptoms.
This educational opportunity is being led by Cheri Farris and Rose Brassfield who attended a training provided by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. The Living Well strategies were developed by Stanford University.
