Volunteer

"Go wherever we are needed and do whatever comes to hand.”

This was the pledge made by Ballington and Maud Booth when they founded Volunteers of America in 1896. Now, over a century later, these words still define us as we continue our legacy of responding to the needs of our area. Our organization is strengthened by the commitment of employees, volunteers and partners working toward postivity and well-being.

From caring for the community garden, offering exercise classes, organizing events, or hosting the health fair, we always have something going on.

No matter what you choose – whether you provide a helping hand at an event or attend an environmentally friendly class – when you get involved with Volunteers of America, you help create positive change in our community, enrich your life, and brighten the world of those we serve.
