Annual Tea and Style Show

Each year Volunteers of America has an annual tea and show that is held at the Oshkosh City Auditorium. This show is organized in efforts to raise funds for the preschool that serves the children of Garden County as well as provide a fun-filled afternoon for women in the area.

Individuals in the area decorate tables with china and fine tableware and invite attendees to sit at the remarkably created seating arrangements. The show is created by area resident, Alice Bailey. Alice has a collection of dresses and accessories from various eras.

There is music, food, and good company and the event is open to women in the area interested in spending the afternoon being entertained and having an opportunity to support a great cause, the preschool. The event offers a silent auction as well as accepts goodwill donations.

Tables are round and are to have preferably eight place settings. Individuals are encouraged to be as creative as they desire.

If you are interested in decorating a table or assisting with the event, you are encouraged to contact Volunteers of America at (308) 778-5548
