Volunteers of America Western Nebraska serve our older residents of Garden County with exercise programs, health fairs, and community events. Eligible seniors receive commodities distributed at Volunteers of America Western Nebraska by Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska.

Senior exercise classes are offered for free in Oshkosh. Classes are held at the Senior Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-9:30am starting Sept. 20th. For more information, contact Marlene at (308) 772-3837.

Looking for Help Understanding Medicare?

Are you 65+ and have questions about your Medicaid coverage? Nebraska SHIP offers several educational resources to help people understand their Medicare beneļ¬ts. Call or come by, and we can help direct you to the information you need. Also, remember to schedule your annual wellness visit with your health provider!

Because Medicare can be confusing, Nebraska SHIP offers a toll-free hotline that any person eligible for Medicare, relatives, friends, or providers can call for answers to insurance questions or to arrange a meeting with a SHIP counselor.
